Outdoor Events, Inc. was founded in 2001 with the goal of establishing a sports marketing company that provides event management and planning not only in the golf industry, but the hunting and fishing industries as well.
Outdoor Events draws on the strength of its many years of experience in the event management business to provide you with an event staff specializing in planning and implementing events, ranging from a variety of corporate affairs to prominent professional golf events.

Warner Neal, President
Warner has over 25 years of experience in the events planning business. His talents include the planning of national and international sporting events and travel for clients, sponsors, players and fans.
Before starting Outdoor Events, Warner began his career in the Sports Marketing business in 1985 where his duties included overseeing a staff of 80+ employees and managing PGA TOUR, LPGA, and Champions Tour events throughout the world. His knowledge of managing corporate sporting events spans from small corporate events to major PGA TOUR events. Warner currently serves on the boards for the Columbus Sports Council, the Southeastern Amateur, the Haskins Commission (The Heisman Trophy of golf), and the Children’s Healthcare Sports Advisory Board.
Charlton Norris, Vice President
Charlton has over 22 years in the sports marketing industry. His talents include managing, organizing and producing professional and amateur golf tournaments, corporate outings and hunting and fishing adventures around the world.
Charlton joined Outdoor Events in 2002. Before joining, Charlton began his career in the Sports Marketing industry in 1987 producing hunting and fishing shows for television. In 1990, Charlton changed his direction to organizing golf tournaments and has managed the logistics and operations at over 200 professional golf tournaments around the world.
Matt Hilliker, Event Manager
Matt joined Outdoor Events in 2006. Graduating from Springfield College with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Matt brings a fresh approach to event marketing and management. Matt focuses on sponsor relations as well as event logistics. His dedication and professionalism is an asset to the Outdoor Events team.
Lisa Neal, Event Coordinator
Lisa has over 12 years experience in the event planning industry. Her specialties are large corporate and charity events, as well as trade shows and sporting events. A graduate of the University of Mississippi in Business Administration, Lisa lends her knack for business to all her events paying special attention to the event budgeting and finances. Her excellent marketing and organizational skills offer an advantage to all her events.
Lisa recent focus has been on creating and fulfilling sales incentive packages for large corporations. These incentives range from customized beach getaways to cruises to Alaska.
Stevenson Gravlee, Operations Manager
Stevenson joined Outdoor Events in January of 2010. Having served an internship with Outdoor Events after graduating from Presbyterian College, Stevenson joined the OE team full time to focus on assisting with the logistics at corporate outings, professional golf tournaments, and hospitality management.
