In 1985, Warner Neal left Athens, GA with his diploma and no idea what he would do for the rest of his life. Back in Columbus, GA, most of his friends were putting on a suit and tie every day but that did not appeal to him. Then a friend told him about an opportunity to work at the 1985 Buick Open, a PGA TOUR tournament being held at Green Island Country Club. Shortly after he started, he was given the title of “General Factotum”, which means – one who does all. When the tournament ended, Warner was offered a full-time job with Executive Sports, the event management company that ran the tournament. That’s where the story begins…

The Outdoor Events staff brings many, many combined years of event management experience to every event. Our goal is to take control of all the event details, so our customers can spend time entertaining their guests. We are committed to the highest levels of service, to ensure that every event we manage will be a unique and memorable one.
Warner took that job and his career in the sports marketing industry began. Over 17 years, his career grew to where his duties included overseeing a staff of 80+ employees and managing PGA TOUR, LPGA, and Champions Tour events throughout the world.
Charlton has over 26 years in the sports marketing industry. His talents include managing, organizing and producing professional and amateur golf tournaments, corporate outings and hunting and fishing adventures around the world.
Lisa has over 15 years experience in the event planning industry. Her specialties include working with large corporate and charity events, as well as trade shows and sporting events. Bernice leads the charge in cleaning and organizing all of the dishes and linens. Nobody knows how she does it but she works the dishwasher and press like a magician to have linens and dishes ready to be rented in no time!
